Somebody say "Potluck"?

Not exactly watching the carbs but hey, it's a party! Here's proof that Pitt crashed the celebration just to learn the club's secret handshake being demonstrated by Wayne Unten. Wait a minute... do we have a secret handshake?

No!... couldn't be!

Some animation royalty showed up to join Joanne and Jennifer for the festivities. This party is turning out like an old episode of "Lost"... is anyone really dead or are we all in a different stage of recycling?

Speaking of "Lost"...

Just goes to show you how our alumni who are living and working in the entertainment business in LA are so used to celebs they don't even notice 'em. Now we know why someone missed their court date, too.....

Just couldn't wait...

Doorman and bouncer Mark Thorne had to deal with this rowdy dude who tried to take cuts. Started yelling and firing anyone within earshot but was rebuffed by Mark's fancy footwork and the threat of bodily harm by president Sarah Banning.

Where there's food...

Apparently the aroma of Don Lagerberg's culinary selection attracted the attention of a certain radio personality...

Check it Out! Memories Galore!

Festival Pix

Had a great time and packed the theater for our 10th PMC Anniversary Fullerton Film Festival. Ate, laughed, hollered, some hugging going on, here are some pix. Still have sketchbooks for those who ordered them, send me your mailing address if you couldn't make it and I will get them to you! -Dana, Cliff, Chuck and the Gang.

PS: The group photos toward the end are a result of several alumni taking a night course in "Runway Modeling 101". They are sharing their best moves....

The Sketchbooks have Arrived!!!

The cover and back pages are on heavy, glossy card stock to make sure the books last a long time. If you haven't ordered yours, contact me ASAP at dlamb@fullerton.edu so I can reserve your copy. We only have around 30 unsold copies and they will be gone soon!

Dedication and bragging pages

This is the dedication page and we threw in a bragging page about some of the companies our alums have worked at or are currently working for.

Alumni Pages

We selected a heavy weight, high quality paper so you don't see images through the pages.

Faculty Pages

There is a section in the back of current and past faculty sketchbook pages.

Thursday, January 21, 2010

We have launched the PMC 10th Anniversary commemorative book which will include a short history of the club and then a sketchbook page from any and all alumni that want to send it to me via my university e-mail dlamb@fullerton.edu.
Send me a black and white 300 dpi JPEG of your favorite sketchbook page from either "back in the day" or a recent one, don't matter to us. Put your full name and when you graduated like so:
Jane Doe
Class of 2005
We are going to print and bind the book (getting bids on printing as I type) and make it available for sale at cost plus $5 per book that will go to the Machado-Josephs Research Foundation which is working on a cure for Machado-Josephs disease. This will be done in the name of our very first club president Mike Williams who is battling this disease. I will be announcing the final price wants we seal the deal with the printer so you can get your very own copy or copies. Watch for more news soon.
